So I too wanted to love this smaller backpack as it is just the right size for a few items and is waterproof. However the side straps that fits along your back are way too long and nowhere to cinch them so they do not flap about looking very sloppy. For that reason it is being returned. The tan color is quite pretty and it would be very flat to pack in a suitcase.
I bought this backpack for travel and wanted to be able to throw my hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc in it. It was too small for me. In addition, I’m 6 ft so it looked like I was carrying a kid’s purse. I think it would be fine if you have a smaller frame and don’t carry a lot of stuff. I returned this one and bought the larger Le Pliage backpack (which I love).
Notice how none of the photos show the backpack from the front. It also looks like they photoshop out the excess straps - which in real life hang from the side of the bag in a very awkward way. Why they don’t put another tab to tuck the straps into is a mystery. It ruins an otherwise cute accessory.

GREAT bag, roomy and easily organized with zip pouches. HOWEVER, extremely disappointed they completely cheaped out with nylon backpack straps. I’d have gladly paid more for leather ones.
