I love the simplicity in James Perse' designs. But the last 2 shirts I've bought from his line, including this one, are so delicate they get holes in them right away. I took this shirt back because of that very reason, got a brand new one from the factory, and there is already fraying around the seams of the shirt. Just way too expensive for this low of quality. Nordstrom either needs to stop buying his line, or JP needs to choose sturdier fabrics.

These shirts are classics and are very flattering. Since they are a little sheer, you might want to wear a camisole underneath. The shirt is a little snug across the chest, so I ordered one size up and it is a great fit.

I've worn this style for years and just love it. I was disappointed when they changed the fabric to the soft cotton jersey. I resisted buying this shirt last season for that very reason. I broke down and bought the jersey this year and am very glad I did. Although I prefer the straight cotton, the jersey has a less wrinkled look and the white seems more bright. The jersey is a littler warmer so I don't wear it on really hot days. First day I wore it I got two compliments and both women said, 'Oh, I have that shirt and love it'. Me too.
