Thierry Mugler 'Pure Malt

I was searching for a fragrance to give my 16 year old son who has decided that it is cool to wear cologne and wanted something that wasn't too 'old men' smelling but something fun. I am familiar with Thierry Mugler women's fragrances so I knew I was on to something when I saw this line of men's fragrances. This was a hit with me as well as my son. This is perfect for young men as well as older men.
I've tried the tester several times before finally deciding to make the purchase. After trying the product, I noticed that the scent is a little subdued compared to the tester which seems to be more potent. Pure Malt reminds me of Allure pour homme with a hint of The One. It is a good cool weather scent but the strong opening quickly diminishes to a close to skin. Reapply as needed if projection is cut short. However longevity is quite acceptable in my opinion.
