I bought this for my 40th high school reunion, coming up in 4 weeks. I've always been a bit wary of ordering online but felt comfortable after reading all of the positive reviews. It's one of the most flattering dresses I've ever had! I ordered the Oxblood color which is gorgeous and rich. Nordstrom's website recommends ordering down a size but I'm pretty much a true 10--I have broad shoulders and torso, and it looks absolutely great (though I would consider following the advice if you're smaller through the chest). I also carry weight around my middle vs. my hips and this fits like a glove. It's very forgiving and super-comfortable. The shoulder pads are tiny and I'd always removed them in the 80s as I tended to look like a linebacker with any in)--but these actually balance the fit well so I will leave them in. I highly recommend this dress! May wear Spanx just because I have a bit of "back fat"...but I'm very happy with it overall.

I was a bit torn when it came to buying this dress bc this style either looks awesome on my rather curvy shape, or looks terrible - I have DDD breasts and typically an 8 or 10 on the bottom with very little stomach. This dress made me feel amazing. The top portion of the dress left just enough cleavage so I didn't feel over exposed and the bottom flattered my curves as well. This is a must have and now a staple in my wardrobe.

I bought the dress based on other ratings that were favorable and recommended the dress for a wedding. I will wear the dress to a late August wedding in Los Angeles and like the color and fit.

Looking for a dress that can be used for a variety of occasions and this is it. Can be dressed up or dressed down. Flattering to someone who is "thicker" around the middle and has just Anouilh of a sleeve.
