I received this necklace in gold for my birthday and loved it. However a year later and the gold has wore off of most of it. It now looks really "tin-y" and cheap. The same thing happened to the gold Dogeared necklaces I got for my bridesmaids. Really a shame since the designs are so nice.

Based on the previous reviewer's comments and my past purchases of Dogeared jewelry I ordered the necklace in both gold and sterling silver. These necklaces are absolutely beautiful - very delicate and the simple design is lovely. The beads go all the way around the necklace and there is an extender to make the necklace a bit longer in case its too tight/close for the twice wrap-around feature.The necklace looks wonderful wrapped around the neck twice. Its a great price for a very pretty accessory.

I got this in gold and it is worth every penny. It is very delicate and looks great when you wrap it around your neck twice. I might get it in silver as well....
