Conceals Well, But....

This is a good concealer, but I can see it too clearly on my skin - I think the Trish McEvoy concealer that I use goes on better (at least on my nose). That said, it goes on easily because it's more liquidy, so it's easier to spread to different areas of my skin without pulling. I'm going to continue using it - perhaps I just need to blend using a brush.

Good coverage

I use Smashbox HD Healthy FX Foundation in L4 and use this concealer in "Light." Good for undereye and spot-coverage, and a little goes a long way. "Light" works very well with L4, and gives me a natural finish even when worn without foundation. When I skip foundation, I make sure to apply Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, dust on Soft Fusion Lights (Baked Stardust) all over my face, and swipe some Smashbox Hyperlash Mascara - this quick combo gives me a healthy, natural looking glow.
You only need a teensy-weensy, tiny dot but unfortunately, more than that will come out of the tube no matter how hard I try to get that dot. RESULT: Wasted product with each application.
Concealer doesn't really do much to conceal imperfections and dark circles.
I've tried the new Smashbox Pro concealer, it is far better. Better packaging tube, better coverage, but is "dry" and needs a bit of eye cream tapped on top to blend it for a natural look. I "work" with it and can achieve a flawless look that no other concealer has offered.

Coverage without being heavy

I use this concealer under my eyes and to cover blemishes, acne scars etc. It is light weight but still provides coverage. I find that the best coverage is using this concealer on the spots first, applying Smashbox Halo Hydrating powder overall then following up on those spots with some more powder. My favorite thing about this concealer is that the color matches - it does not look as if you have darker or lighter spots on your face where the concealer was applied.
