It has a soft stretchy material that does not cling because it uses the same material for its lining. This gives a very smooth appearance. Nice styling that can be a dressy daytime dress or an evening look.

Great dress for pregnancy

I am 30 weeks pregnant and have only gained about 19lbs. My pre-pregnancy size is a 4, 134lbs and I'm 5'7", but based on the other reviews, I ordered up to be safe to take in consideration the comments of it running small and my growing belly. That was a good call because the 6 fits me perfectly while pregnant. It's a perfect maternity dress. I purchased it for my baby shower. I've had such a hard time finding classy and well made maternity clothes and have started purchasing non-maternity clothes with this type empire waste. The pleats in the front fall nicely over my expanding belly. I didn't think the neckline was all that low as the previous comments, but I have an expanded bustline right now as well. But it isn't inappropriate in any way. My only negative comment is that it's about 2 inches too short and doesn't hit my knees as it does the model online and I'd guess she's somewhat tall like me. But there is enough of a hemline to let it out plenty. If I wasn't pregnant I'd probably prefer a dress with a more defined wasteline though. It would probably also fit true to size non-pregnant.

This is a lovely dress! It is flattering to an apple shape, although definitely one needs shape wear to keep the attention at the bust. Just the right necklace, and heels will make this a classy outfit. The sleeve length is perfect! I am 5'1", and a regular size lands right below the knee.

I purchased for my teen daughter - when it came the fabric was too clingy to make it very practical so we returned it.
