I loved the blush peach color and the immediate glow it created upon applicatiom! However, the compact could be re-thought as it was hard to open, and the mirror became dislodged upon opening.

Best Powder Blush Out There

I think I've tried every blush out there looking for my blush Holy Grail. As the name indicates this powder blush is like "second skin" and for someone like me (age 65) that is definitely a plus, most powder blushes tend to make aging skin look dry and accentuate wrinkles, not this blush! I bought the color Heather Pink which is a beautiful soft pink, I had also previously purchased Lotus Pink, which is actually a very pretty apricot color on me with some glitter. I don't know how to explain it, but the sparkle is not like other blushes with sparkles in that the sparkles seem lay flat on the skin and don't show up as much as other blushes with sparkles. You can only really see them in bright sunlight. The Heather Pink has no sparkles, but still imparts a slight glow to the skin. If you apply this blush once (because blush seems to fade by the time you've completed the rest of your makeup) and then reapply it once all your makeup is done and pat/press it into your foundation, it will last all day. I don't know why I hadn't heard about this blush before, but it is makeup's best kept secret and it shouldn't be. I can't recommend this blush enough and hope they never stop making it. If there is one downside to this blush it's that there is less product than most blushes.

I usually am a Nars girl but I had someone at the Alan counter do my full face and love it! They used gnus blush and I just loved how it went on so great and lasted all day. Some of my other blushes would not last all day l, but this one does. I definitely will buy this again!
I ordered this because my first lotus pink was running out. Love the color. I'm rather fair and just a little bit goes a long way. Lots of bang for your buck. My last one lasted a good year and a half and still has some left. Glad to know they still have this great color. Goes with pink hued and purple based lip color that I use frequently. Great value and quality product! I apply after Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer for a finished, rosy (but natural) look.
