Disappointed!

I had gone into Nordstrom with my decision to buy the classic short boot but fell in love with the Bailey. I ended up purchasing them in black. I thought they were really cute since you could wear them up or folded down and I loved the button on the side. When I got home, I realized that I didn't like them folded down so much but figured it was ok. The button on the side is what I really liked anyway, so why not show it off. After a couple of wears, one of the boots began folding down on it's own from the top. As I said I had folded them down once to see how they looked and decided it wasn't for me. It was not enough to make a permanent crease to the very top. Still, the top continued to fold down no matter what I did and it looked horrible. I ended up returning them. It's too bad because they are totally cute but if they would just stay up if you don't want them folded, they absolutely would have been keepers and worth a whole 5 stars.

Got this in black and love this boots. I ordered another one for my daughter in blackberry wine. So excited to wear it. Actually I'm a size 6 in boots but if you have to wear socks, you need to order one size up.

I wore them without socks for the first couple of times, the black dye colored my feet. I now only wear them with socks. Not what I wanted but I suppose the dye will eventually fade.
