These are my first Uggs and I can honestly say they are the best boots I've ever owned! I wear them around the house all day and night and fear something might happen to them when I go outside. They go with everything and I get so many compliments on them. My family says I am obessed with them and they are right! Go treat yourself with a pair and you wont regret it EVER!

I must say I'm quite impressed with my first pair of Uggs. Here are my reasons for purchasing, they live up in all areas: -easy to slip on/off -warmth -comfort -versatility (with outfits/occasions)
Prompted by other reviews, I used the Ugg stain/water repellent, which takes 24 hours to dry. Since I protected them immediately after getting them I don't know just how much protection it provides, but because I did it, I saved myself from having to tiptoe through dewy grass a few times. In other words, I'm comfortable wearing them in all conditions, whereas without protection I might worry about staining them.
My reason for not giving 5 stars (would have gone with 4 1/2 were there 1/2 star ratings) is because the sole seems to be very soft. I've walked through gravel a few times and tiny pebbles get stuck in the grooves. When I pick them out, it's very obvious that the material is super soft since there will be large indentions. Also, I'm an overpronator, so the outside (lateral) edge of the heels of all my shoes wear faster than the rest. I've noticed some slight wearing already, but again, this happens with all my shoes minus running shoes, which I buy specifically to correct for overpronation.
Then, I sweat at the slightest bit of physical activity. Given that I haven't noticed that my feet are especially sweaty, but they don't feel dry for that matter, since most reviews say they can be worn both indoors and outdoors and are good for a broad range of temperatures without sweating. However, I wear flipflops at the first sign of spring, so I likely have a different view of dry feet.
That said, I'm still excited to have them and I'll see how well they hold up as I wear them throughout the season.

I purchased these Ugg boots for a Christmas gift for a family member. I was very pleased. They are very cute and I am sure they will be a big hit on Christmas Day. I am very pleased with this purchase and I will probably purchase the same boots for my daughter and also myself.

UGG never fails to disappoint. These are very warm, and it goes well with my outfit when i wanna be really lazy in the mornings or even i wanna go out with my friends. I definitely love the button; it gives a bit of a different look than the regular UGG short. All in all, my favorite shoes of the season! And very light and comfy to wear! :)
