Bought this dress for a wedding because it looked like it would flatter my figure (I have a smaller bust and a little bit bigger hips). The sizing directions said to measure your chest and go with that, but I thought a 2 would be way too small (I usually wear a 6 or an 8). I got a 4 and it fit pretty well, but there was a little extra room in the top. I'm 5'5" and the skirt hits right above my knee. A petite might have been a bit better fit for me. Overall I'm really happy with it (love the deep purple color) and am looking forward to wearing it!

I bought this for a friend's wedding in the Peach Fuzz color. A beautiful color and darker than I thought it would be, which works well because I have very fair skin. Be careful of the material it obviously snags easy; there were very small snags in the dress when I tried it on. A new dress is on its way and I also ordered a size smaller to see if it fit better, it was big in the bust. I love the length, the color, and the fact the bust is lined and also has closures in the back in addition to the zipper to keep the dress up.

This is going to sound silly, but I bought this dress for a best friend's wedding coming up and was really surprised at how much of a gap I had in the back by my ribs. The color was soon sold out on Nordstrom.com, but an awesome customer service representative helped me find the next size up at a bridal shop in Texas and had it shipped to me in Georgia that week. It arrived, and alas, it was STILL gapping by about an inch. I wear a size 8-10, and this was a 10, and based on the measurements, I knew there was no way I could be a 12. As a last-ditch effort, I decided to try it on backwards so I could try to turn it around once on, and when I placed it lower and began to pull...it zipped up effortlessly! I had been placing the dress too high on my chest!
So moral of the story: make sure you have it sitting right where a bra would fall on your bust. It is a fairly low-cut dress, although it does have a built-in bra!
Otherwise, beautiful dress! Be careful with the fabric, because it is delicate. Once it's situated correctly and zipped up, it fits well :)

Great fit and very flattering. I really like the inner straps to help keep the dress up too.
