I saw this dress in Real Simple. I was looking for a dress for my brother's wedding since I was walking him down the aisle. Of course I had to make sure to make him look good :). This dress did not disappoint. So many people complimented me at the wedding so I know this was a good find. What I liked about it was how well made it was. Yes, it's a high price but for what you get, it beats a Max Studio, BCBG or similar dress any day! There was boning, there were two straps on the inside back of the dress to help hold it up, the padding inside was great for us small chested girls, there were two small "loops" to loop the two strings you use to hang the dress. I've spent money on dresses that is close to this price and all it was was a thin dress - no boning, slip/shell, etc. Well worth it. The only downfall is the cheap pewter belt. It shows the bend from when it was packed and it's already slightly peeling. Other than that though, I highly recommend this dress.

I got this dress in amethyst as a bridesmaids dress for a friends wedding. I'm 5'6, 125 lbs. I ordered my normal size 4, and it fits great in most places. The length hits right at my knee. The belt is OK and gives the dress a little pop of color. The only thing I don't like about this dress is that it makes me look absolutely flatchested. Since I'm normally a 34C, I was happy to see that this dress had boning in the bodice and extra closures to give the dress some structure up top. However I didn't expect it to just push everything in. I don't think getting the next size up would help since the dress actually fits great otherwise. Overall, I don't think I would buy this dress if I wasn't in the wedding, but I'm sure it looks really great on other body types.

One of the best things about this dress is that you absolutely don't need a bra when you're wearing it even if your breasts are bigger. I am 5'10''/137lb and 4 fits me perfectly. The fabric is wonderful and it's very well made dress. Excellent quality, looks classy and very elegant. Mine is midnight color and looks great.

I am in LOVE with this dress! I ordered it in a size 4 (what I normally wear), and it fits perfectly! I love the ruching and it is extremely flattering on me. This dress is for my BFF's wedding bridal party, and I am so excited to wear it and know I will be rewearing it in the future!!
