Very nice socks

Prossoft, comfortable, heavy weight, don't fall down
These socks are heavier weight than I was expecting, but very comfortable and nice. I have been wearing trouser socks forever, and the extra weight adds to extra comfort which is so, so nice. They aren't bulky, just add nice soft comfort. I am 5' 5" and 190 lbs, so some trouser socks bind at the top. These do not, but they stay up great. I think that they would also stay up on smaller women, but wanted to mention it for larger women like me. And, I generally just love Nordstroms's socks. I also have the striped and polka dotted. Since I tried the Nordstrom's socks, which was about 2 years ago, I haven't purchased anything else.
Great knee socks, nice and soft and stay up. Will be buying more.

How far the socks can stretch
I love pairing knee socks with skirts in the fall, and I've tried many different socks from many different stores. These Nordstrom socks are my favorites. The seams sit on top of my toes and not at the ends, which makes them comfortable inside shoes. The upper bands of the socks stay securely on my legs. They're not too warm or tight on me at all, and the fabric only leaves the lightest of imprints. These socks are long enough to fit as over-the-knee socks on me if I stretch them out as far as they go, and all the colors except green fit properly when they're not completely stretched out. The green socks were made differently. I have to fold them over an inch, because they're too long to sit where they're supposed to without bunching up and too short to go over my knees. They sit right in the middle of the joint. Fortunately, they don't look bad when I fold them over, so I'll be keeping them.

Stick to my pants!

Proscomfortable
These socks feel soft and comfortable and are a good fit and the 2 sizes choice is wonderful, BUT . . . when I have been sitting and then stand up, they stick to my pants, and I have to bend over and pull the legs of my pants down and away from the socks. It is not static electricity. It is because they are kind of fuzzy, not sleek like microfiber, and they catch on my pants fabric. Disappointing, because otherwise they would be great. I ordered lots in 3 colors, to prepare for winter, tried on a pair, loved them and threw out all the packaging. Then last week when I tried them on with pants for the first time, I saw the problem. My pants stuck to them every time I stood up. I doubt if Nordstrom's will take them back without the packaging, but I will go to the store and try! They always have excellent customer service. I have gone ahead tonight and ordered lots more in 3 colors in the DKNY microfiber. They will not stick to my pants.
