These are great boot socks! They actually stay up, which seems to be impossible to find in knee-length socks. They are a little tight, as others have mentioned, but not uncomfortably so, at least for me. They're also a really soft, nice fabric. I got these as a thinner alternative to the Hunter socks to wear under tall Hunter boots, and they are definitely much thinner than those but they still provide a nice amount of padding/lining. And of course, love the Anniversary Sale price!

The Only Socks You Will Ever Need

Proscomfortable, durable, well made
These are by far the very best knee high socks I've owned. They are durable, not flimsy, very comfortable, and keep their shape and color wash after wash. I threw away all my old socks, then went to Nordstrom's and bought NINE pairs of these great knee high socks. When I got home, I decided to make it an even dozen, and ordered THREE more pairs online. I love these socks!

Love it but...

I have been looking for a pair of black knee high socks for a while now and these are great. I am 5'2 and these extend about 2 inches above my knees. However, the band is a little tight and give my legs sort of a muffin top. Nonetheless, I love them and will keep these.
As some reviewers have already pointed out, the band is pretty snug... if not downright tight. But after a couple of wearings, they also developed holes in them... not in the toe or heel but in the calf section. I only bought one pair so I'm tossing them. I wear socks under my boots year round and it is becoming almost impossible to find knee socks that stay put without cutting off your circulation and don't fall apart immediately. Not impressed, Nordstrom....
