This light and translucent powder is like fairy dust on your face. The powder is super white, but does not give a white out effect on your face. Just a bit of fairy dust gives a "matte" finish as opposed to a "glossy" finish.
I have been using this powder for several years now and I love it. It sets my makeup and it not heavy. I would recommend this powder to anyone. It would be good for any skin tone.
