I ordered 29 based on the Nordstroms reccomendation, and they did in fact fit like a regular size 8. Great quality, great color, and everything that is to be expected from Citizens.

I ordered these online and am not happy enough with the color and fabric to keep them and have the length altered. I wear a 28 and am 5'5" but these were about 3" too long in 3" heels. The general cut, fit and rise was nice, however. I expected the New Pacific wash to look like the photo; a nice even darker color. But the pair I received look like a more "casual" wash that is significantly lighter in some areas. I felt that the denim was a bit thin for my preference also. The voice in the back of my head told me not to order unfamiliar jeans online but I didn't listen so back they go. I have always had very good service from Nordstrom and the ordering process was pleasant as usual.

These are my favorite jeans! I've purchased several pairs. They are a perfect fit and wear well. Since I'm 5'11" I can't wear them with heels, but they're definitely versatile enough to wear with casual tennis shoes or dressed up with nice flats. They stretch just enough to hug appropriate places and hold their shape well after a few wears.
