I was skeptical about paying so much for a nylon bag but this bag is so well made. The perfect bag for everyday use and traveling. I did exchange it for the large. I wish they have a medium size (reason for my 4 stars), but if you're debating between the small and large, go for the large! It looks and feels much better. Btw, the color "new navy" is very dark in person that it almost looks black. The classic navy is beautiful!
I have one of these from several years ago and I love the length of the "drop." This one is shorter from the bag I have and not comfortable--the description says it's 8", which is the same as my old one, but the bag I received was clearly shorter. After I received it, I tried another one in the store and that too seemed shorter. So bummed. Maybe it's a temporary thing--I hope so because otherwise I love this well-priced, functional bag.
I have taken this bag across five countries for the last four years and I have never had a problem with it. It's water resistant so it has helped me when I've been caught in the rain a few times. I have been hard on this bag by throwing it around a few times and then handle is still on. I use this bag everyday!
