Proslight, flawless, moisturizing, natural
I've tried quite a few brand of foundations in my lifetime. MAC, NARS, Chanel, drugstore, Bobbi Brown, etc. This one is probably one of my favorites. It was truly love at first wear, it lasts so long and it doesn't look cakey on the skin. I only need one pump and that covers my entire face. I have yellow-skintone (Asian), and I use #6. Its my go-to for summertime.

I have medium-neutral skin, and bought two shades: 5.5 and 6.5.
I've heard great things about Lasting Silk, but was disappointed by this product. For the record, the shades weren't bad--both colors were decent, and could have been custom mixed for between-season wear.
I applied the product using a good foundation brush, and tried it both with and without makeup primer. Unfortunately, it applies way too thick, and sat on my face like a mask. Even a single pump of fluid seemed like too much by the way it sat on top of my skin and coated fine face hairs. It was tough to make it look sheer and believable, even with the foundation brush.
Rather than fusing with my skin, the foundation seemed to slide around on the surface, especially after some mild mid-afternoon oil. God forbid you might touch your face at that point, because you'll end up with streaks and swirls.
Bottom line: Overhyped. Didn't work for my skin. Average at best....at worst, too thick and mask-like.

Loved the Luminous Silk Foundation and eventually decided to try the Lasting Silk for the SPF coverage. However the colors did not match up. The Lasting Silk was way too light for me when I ordered it in my usual shade. Had to return it.

I kept hearing about this foundation so I finally decided to try it out at the store. The product looked a little watery and I thought it would be too sheer and I need good coverage. Once half of my face was done, I looked in the mirror and was shocked to see my "very hard to cover flaws" covered! It's light weight with amazing blending ability so you can't even tell that you have foundation on. The next day I wore it to work and received so many compliments on how good my skin looked! Definitely worth the money!
