I use many of the Armani cosmetic products and find them all to be excellent. Luminous Silk #10 has been my foundation of choice for a few years now, but I wanted something with a matte finish so I purchased the Lasting Silk #9. The color was a little too light, but after speaking with a rep, she suggested to add a little golden bronzer #5 to forehead, temple and cheek...PERFECT! The color blended perfectly. The staying power, on my combination skin, is awesomely matte even after 9 hours with NO touch-ups. I love how easy Armani's products work with each other to achieve the ultimate look you're desiring!!

Ordered wrong shade and coverage is too heavy

I wear a sunscreen under my makeup and although I already have the Luminous Silk foundation I thought something with an SPF would be perfect for me so I ordered it. Well, primarily the color is too light for my skin so I can not wear it and having dry skin, i prefer a dewy appearance not matte. For sun protection it has a heavier coverage than I care for so I will not be purchasing it again.

Prosneed more colours for pale pinky tones
I have the luminous silk foundation in shade #3.75 since I have pinky undertones in my skin. it is the perfect and best colour match, but I find I need a matte finish foundation due to my combination/oily skin. The sales lady tried to match my skin tone, but she agreed that none of the colours were right for me. I ended up buying the lasting silk compact but even those colours were not a perfect match to the luminous silk colours. I hope others like me, will submit feedback asking Giorgio Armani to please broaden the colour selection in the Lasting Silk line to match the luminous silk line. Love the products, just wish I could have one in this Lasting Silk formula!

Phenomenal! I have tried almost every foundation brand - pharmacy brands to high-end cosmetic counters/stores. They are all nice however, I could not find a foundation to match my skin tone and combination skin. I am fair, with pink undertones - some oliliness. At makeup counters, they always insisted on darker colors or thicker products to even it out. It inevitably looked yellow, felt too thick, looked darker (line along the chin), or wiped off. I recently purchased Lasting Silk UV 4.5 and have been completely impressed. I also bought the foundaiton brush. The color blends seamlessly into my skin, evens my skin tone, and lasts all day. I could not be happier. Absolutely worth the price - I will never buy another!
