I normally use lipsticks which are more opaque, but they really are more formal. This is wonderful for a more casual look. Has good staying power and seems to stain your lips slightly. I don't feel a need to reapply it as often as lipstick, plus my lips feel great with it. My lips do not get as dry as quickly as with lipsticks. I got the Coral and it is quite lovely on -- not orangey at all. I am going to buy the Rosewood next!
I was disappointed in these as although they felt great on the lips, they are pretty much clear. I was looking for a very sheer swipe of color, or to slightly tone down my pigmented lips. I purchased both 011 and 012, and 011 had beautiful shimmer but no color, looks like I had a clear gloss on. 012 looked absolutely clear as well. The one benefit was they felt very nice and moisturizing on the lips. However for the price point I returned both.
this is my can't live without lip product. i love the "this is my natural lip color" effect it has and moisturizes without making my lips look glossy. for skin-tone reference, i am NC20 in MAC foundations and Sand in Bobbi Brown foundations
