Runs a half size small & does not have a user friendly buckle. For a flat, they are comfortable.

Great, comfortable summer sandals

Great summer sandals that I am wearing for the first time today to work! Very happy - they are comfortable, and I was pleasantly surprised that my feet do not slide around with the T-strap design (I have another pair of T-strap sandals, Aldo, with a zip back where my feet do slide around a bit). I am a true US7.5, and the US8 saddle brown fits perfectly. This is my first pair of Sam Edelman shoes, so I'm not sure what the sizing is like across the board for other Sam Edelman shoes, but for these Gigi sandals, I would definitely recommend sizing up a half size. Expect to be able to get a lot of use out of these - wearing to work, the airport, travelling, and anywhere where flip flops might feel too casual!

I purchased these in two colors. They were the exact style of sandal I wanted and in the colors I needed however, these didn't work out. Firstly they run small so I had to go up a half size. I don't know if it's because of the larger size or because of the way it's made but my feet were not secure in the sandal. I've had this style in the past by other designers but my feet moved around a lot in these in particular. Also the thong between the toes is too wide and it hurts. I never ever have issues with wearing thong sandals. I need comfortable sandals and although they are nicely padded the painful thong is why I will be returning both pairs.

This is my go-to summer sandal. I just counted--I have 16 pairs! When I saw the new Havana Red ones, I had to have them! These look fabulous with skinny jeans, shorts, and summer dresses. I always get compliments when I wear them.
