Love these boots. I've coveted a pair of Fryes for years. Finally went for it. They are wonderful but don't work for slim calfs. Had to return. Great service and easy return but sad I don't get my Fryes.
I have these in cognac, and they are the best and classiest riding boots. I wish I had enough money to buy them in black. Also, nordstrom has the best customer services!! Absolutely love them. No need to break in.

I just purchased these boots yesterday at the Nordstrom at SouthPark mall. I got them in the Cognac leather and they are absolutely gorgeous! The color of them is perfect and will go with anything. I am so excited to start wearing them. I did find that these ran a little big. I am usually an 8.5 in most shoes but had to size down to an 8 which fit much better. Buy these boots, you will not regret it!
I have narrow calves and unlike so many boots that I have tried, this boot does not have a wide, gaping opening at the top - so that was a big seller for me. I like the slightly distressed and worn look of the slate brown color that I purchased. I did find that it ran a little big and I had to go down from my normal size 9 to an 8.5.
