Have worn them only twice. Pretty comfortable and very good looking. The second time I was at a party, dancing some...still very comfortable. I know that a bench-crafted shoe will take awhile to actually form to my foot. I did wear a medium heavy sock. The fit is fine. I usually wear an 8.5, but had tried that size on at the store and found them to be too narrow at the widest part of my foot. I have wide feet. I also have shorter toes, so there is some extra room at the end with the size 9, but they do feel as if this is the better size for me. My only concern, is that one the tabs at the top of the boot, is not sewed correctly and has a very small frayed spot. This does bother me, so I will take them to a Nordstrom store, show them this problem and hopefully receive another pair.

This is my second pair of Melissa Button boots by Frye. The first was purchased 4 years ago and after 4 seasons of wearing them 3-4/week in the winter they finally started looking a little too worn out. So I bought the second pair at Nordstrom last week. They can be a little uncomfortable and hard to get your foot into at first, but they break in fairly quickly and soon become so comfortable you will never want to wear anything else. I usually wear a 9.5/10 in shoes and wear the 9.5. I could probably size down to a 9 because they do stretch eventually but I feel like it would be too hard to get my foot in because there is no zipper.
These boots are beautiful and great for everyday wear! I'm a teacher and on my feet all day. When I'm off work I can easily wear these boots chasing my three boys! Can be dressed up or down.
