I love frye boots! These are great classic boots that will last forever. They run very very small in the calf. I had to go up to the extra wide extended calf.... And I am not a big girl. I am a size 4.
I've had my eye on these classic boots for a while, saw a great price and decided to go for it. I ordered wide-calf and the boots were marked wide-calf, but they were absolutely not...I couldn't even pull them up. PS, I don't have really wide calves, I just wanted to ensure they fit and could be worn over skinny jeans. The footbed was also quite tight and ran small. The quality was excellent, the leather just looks beautiful. Wish I'd tried on in the store, but oh well...was able to return to local store after these arrived and didn't work out.
Nordstrom does it again, shipping me a very rich looking, quality product designed to last. These boots are lovely. They look great with skirts and dresses as well as jeans and leggings. The color is more of a "fawn" color, as I found the color in the picture to look more dark brown. I love them just the same. Felt firm for the first few wears and then they began to break in. Im sure I'll have them forever.
