These boots are exactly what you would expect from Frye. Great quality and beautiful leather. The only thing that is not perfect is the difficulty in putting them on. It's hard to get your foot into the boot. It can be done using a plastic bag, but would be nice not to have that issue.
I was a little apprehensive about these boots because of the lack of zipper, but they are so easy to pull on and off. They are a little roomier at the ankles because of this, but they do not slouch, the high quality leather keeps them from giving you cankles. I love the soft brown leather and they fit TTS.
These boots are gorgeous, the leather is smooth and you can just tell the difference in quality when you get a Frye boot. It is my first pair and I am so excited for them. I usually wear a size 9.5 or 10, so I ordered these in size 9 and 9.5 because others suggested sizing down and both of those sizes were too big. I returned them and ended getting the size 8.5 which I am shocked about, I'm never smaller than a 9. They are definitely tight but loosen up a lot over the first week of wear. Definitely size down at least a size.
