I have these boots in the short style in several colors. I'm a big fan of Frye boots. Super comfortable and stylish, and, if you take care of them, they get better with age. Highly recommend. Well worth the price.
I love these boots! The slate brown is almost like a grey/brown color, looks great with brown and black clothing. They are definitely pricey but Frye boots use such great quality leather they will last forever, I consider them an investment not a splurge.

Not the most comfortable boot to start off with. I have big calves but these boots fit ok - more flattering than the wide calf version and I prefer the more tapered ankle. Looks a bit like a cowboy boot but not as narrow in the toe. I wear a size 10.5 to 11 and the 11s fit well. No pinching, but very wide in the heel.
