I've been wearing Frye's since the 60's and still have one pair that I've worn for almost two decades. For this reason, I am especially disappointed in the quality of the boots I have purchased 'twice', to find the same defect is present on both pairs. Customer service at Frye has been lovely...but that doesn't change the fact that two pairs of boots had very poor distribution of stain throughout the product. 1 1/2 - 2 inch round bald patches and streaks. I was told much of that is the 'nature of the look'. I am well aware of 'natural', even distressed. This was not that, So it is with regret I will have to return both pairs. I have not given up on Frye completely...but I've put forth more than enough effort on this purchase, and so will move on!
These boots are exactly what I've been looking for! Such beautiful leather; the exact rugged look I've been wanting. Not your typical riding boot. I have a smaller calf and most boots look too big on my leg, these are perfect! So pleased with this purchase. Such a great price!
