These fit extremely true to size, I wouldn't say they're too small, just know your size. The only slight disappointment is that they're not as glossy as pictured! (I got mine in the color bordeaux) They are still classic though, and I love them.

Something was wrong with them I can't get them on! I have the Melissa button boots in a distressed whiskey color and love them! For some reason the cognac ones are weird or it could just be this pair..... Ps, I'm not a heavy person 5 7' 125lbs with tiny ankles!

I just got my boots tonight and I'm so excited! These are my first Frye's. I originally bought the Veronica shorties in black then decided on the slouch but the slouch killed my feet even though they said they were true to size. I would have to disagree. I wanted a more structured boot to dress up and knew I needed the Melissa buttons so I exchanged them today and got the black ones extended calf (i have muscular calves from dancing) and I went a half size up. I personally recommend that, especially if you want to wear them with socks for fall/winter. I am so excited I can wear them out of the box with no break in time. I think I will buy the Veronica shorties in black again bc I like the two different styles and I think I'm addicted now!

Worth the money. Exceptional quality and very comfortable. Best of all you can pair them with any thing and it will look great!! Really glad I splurged on these boots :)
