Love these boots!

The color of these boots is gorgeous. These boots should be staple in every girl's closet. They are a bit pricey, but they will last you a lifetime if you take care of them. I did not give them 5 stars because my feet tend to slip out, depending on the type of sock I wear.
If you buy these, I have two recommendations:
1) Buy the Frye polish called "weatherproof dressing"-if you get any marks or scratches, this will make the mark disappear!
2) The soles of these handmade boots are very fragile, just one or two wears will scratch the bottoms and make you wonder if you made the right choice. I brought them back to Nordstrom and they sent them to a cobbler, who put on slipproof soles, and you would not even know they put them on, the boots still look the same. Now I can wear them with confidence when I'm out and about.

Favorite Two Items I've Ever Owned

I cannot use words to describe how much I love my Frye Melissa Button Boots. I have owned mine for almost two years and in that time they have become my favorite and most versatile two items in my closet. I have worn them with dresses, skirts, jeans, and leggings. I purchased the cognac color which compliments so many outfits. The price tag is expensive but they are totally worth the money. I have already gotten my moneys worth of use out of them in two years and they are still in great shape so hopefully I will have them for many more years to come.

Absolutely amazing boots! The color is beautiful and the artistry of the boot is incredible! The boot was a little tight on my calves so I am considering the wider version to see if that fits me better. I have always had trouble with boots fitting my properly. I can assure you, you will adore these boots, should you get them!
