If you have have a wide calf and wide feet these are not the boots for you. I don't understand why fryes would not make boots for wider calf. I wear a size six tried the Melissa on.. It was so loose around the ankle and the wide calf size was not at all wide calf. So disappointed ..... Also I don't get why the sole doesn't have grips. If you we're walking on a wet road or ice you would definitely fall on your face. Love the look and I know it would last a long time. But come on ... Big calf girls want to be safe and comfortable aswalking in it

I purchased the Frye Melissa Button in cognac a few weeks ago and have been so pleased with them! This is my first pair of Frye boots and was not sure if I wanted to spend the money. I think they are worth every penny after wearing them. They do feel difficult to get on but I was encouraged by the sales associate that they would stretch out. It only took them about two times wearing them for them to slip on much easier. The color is great. It goes with almost everything.

These boots are amazing! The color is beautiful and they fit me true to size. I have bigger calves so it's hard to find the right pair of high boots but they are wonderful. The leather quality is very durable. Highly recommend these.

Prosclassic, versatile
I am always looking for a nice, versatile boot that I can dress up and dress down. These boots go with everything and have such a classic look. I get compliments every time I wear them. One thing is that they are a little narrow around the toes (I got a blisters around my pinky toes for the first few wears, but after a few wears they will definitely stretch out. If not, you can always take them back to Nordstrom for complimentary stretching out. They are wonderful!
