I am a US7 and wear either 37 (flats) or 37.5 (high heels) in JC. The difference between the 37 and 37.5 isn't that large. Either size would work for someone who is closer to a true IT37. Both sizes leave enough room for thick socks and the 37.5 isn't so large that it feels like my heels lift out with every step. Very warm and great with jeans or a (short) skirt. I'm 5'4 and the shaft height works just fine -- it doesn't stop at an awkward place on my leg (which is what tends to happen with other calf length boots). Super comf straight out of the box! Great for walking about town all day.

Biker boots

Prosstylish, comfortable, versatile
I've looked for a biker boot for some time that wouldn't be to masculine and bulky. Theses are perfect!!! The leather is soft, the hardware not too clunky, and I still feel like a woman when I walk in them.. I'm a 7 1/2, and ordered these in a 38 1/2. They are a little roomy, but my feet are always cold, so perfect with a bit of a thicker sock. (In jimmy shoes I'm a 38)

These shoes are amazing. I feel like a total rockstar when i wear them. The rabbit fur on the inside of the boot is to die for. Totally worth the money. One thing to avoid when wearing these boots is water. I wont wear these boots in rain or when its snowing. Theyre better for fair dry weather. If you are thinking about buying them, do it! You wont regret it!
