Proscomfy
I have to admit that I do not live in cold weather, and will probably get most use of these boots when traveling; however, they are so much nicer than Uggs. I bought them on sale. I would not have kept them at regular price simply bc of where I live, but Nordstrom is the only store that had them on sale. Saks and Neimans carried them, but it appears they sold out before the season ended. The size recommendation I found wrong. I think that European sizes correspond to the US size ie 38.5=8.5. To make sure, I tried and compared.

Cute boot. They would be comfortable for someone without spinal fusion, which Ive had 8 months ago. There is not much cushioning but just enough for occasional use. My Paul Green is amazing comfort. Thus 4 stars for comfort.

Prossoft and warm

Put these boots on right out of the box and wore them for 2 days straight.... so comfortable! The leather is super soft and the sole isn't stiff like another brand with a similar boot style. They are also very warm.... always a plus for those of us who suffer from cold feet!
