I loved the vivid red color, smooth fabric and sophisticated style. I followed the online instruction to order a size up, however, and was disappointed by the fit. The sleeve seams hung an inch below my armpits and the bust gapped. I'd like to order a 4, but it is currently sold out. Nordstrom, please order some more!

I bought this dress in red and wore it to a semi-formal dinner party recently, and I have to say it really is a knockout. I have an hourglass shape, and I'm very critical, but this dress is seriously flattering. I am a size 8 and the 8 was pretty true to size. I wore a shaper underneath just for extra confidence. If you choose this dress prepare to be noticed and complimented, especially in the red. The one thing I will warn against is that it snags very easily. I wore a tennis-style bracelet and rested it on my lap during dinner, and it snagged a bit. Don't let anything even remotely sharp near it! But other than that, worth every penny. I may even pick it up in black.

This is such a pretty dress. I was worried about the horizontal stripes but they weren't a problem at all. Somehow, they disguise figure flaws rather than emphasizing them. It's incredibly comfortable to wear and I received so many compliments in it. I'm only 5 ft. tall but feel slender and elegant in this dress.

It's pretty brave to order a dress online, but this was a very pleasant surprise. Very well made, fits beautifully, very versatile dress.
