I really wanted this dress to work. I ordered it in black in my usual size. I had read previous reviews stating that the arms were tight and didn't think too much of it. They all were dead on correct. I'm very petite and have normal sized arms and the dress was far too tight in the arms. It's also quite short, which I don't mind unless the dress is skin tight, which it is. It's well made, could be dressed up or down and a classic. I am sad it didn't work for me.
I wasn't sure about buying this dress online but it fits great and is very becoming. The fabric is quite heavy and fits almost skin tight but looks very good when on, even on a size 16!
This dress is lovely and a beautiful color blue. The sizing, however, is terrible. I have ordered 6 of them, the last of which should arrive today. The size 4 is smaller and shorter than the 2. The 6 petite was tighter in the top than the 2 and larger in the bottom. I love the dress and am going to keep one of them, but I have had a terrible time getting a proper fit. I am 5'4" tall and weigh about 106. Have tried sizes 2, 4, 6, and 6 Petite. The shipping time is good, and the garments come on a hanger in a plastic bag. I hate to order on line, since I have enough trouble getting a fit in a store. Nordstrom has beautiful dresses for special occasions though, and I would order again if I had to. It takes quite a while to get a credit for returned items. This dress is well made and a great color----if you can just get a fit!

Beautiful dress, I ordered two sizes to make sure one fit, and as stated by others, it is very tight at the top of the sleeves. If you pull the sleeves up a bit, it feels better. I kept the smaller size, and will try to adjust the sleeves. Very flattering dress.
