During last year's Anniversary Sale I was on the hunt for black leggings. My Nordstrom stylist recommended these leggings. I was hesitant 1) because of the price and 2) they were in the exercise section. I didn't want to look like I was always on the way to the gym if I wore these with boots or flats. The thickness of these leggings means that you can't see through them like with some of the cheaper brands. They also keep you warm in cooler weather. What sold me on the $ had to do with the excess cellulite in my thigh/hip region. These shaped my body nicely without cutting off circulation. I am 5' 1" and 136 pounds, the large fit just right. As it turned out these are so comfortable that I will be purchasing additional pairs. Besides my fleece lined leggings, these are the only other pair I will wear/buy again.

Best leggings ever!!! Not see through, not shiny or cottony looking, stay up no matter how small your waist is!!!! I wish I could get the whole world to buy these cause their perfection. I'm in between a 24-25 and just ordered the XXS on a whim and they fit like a glove. So I would say they run a little larger. I'm 5'2 and they're really long but when I'm not wearing them with boots I just fold them over. Please just buy these, you'll thank me later.
