Great for Barre

I've tried on just about every well known athletic brand of leggings to wear at barre, and these are the only ones that passed the bend over test with ease. Very comfortable, a perfect medium thickness. Wicks away sweat very well, I could be pouring sweat but you'd never know it by the look of the pants after class. They keep me nice and tight, with a great compression waist pant to remind me to pull in. They aren't slick either, making them perfect for holding a barre ball, it never slips out. Could not recommend these pants enough, get a pair and try it if you're doubting it, Nordstroms has great returns! I can't wait to get some more of these when they're on sale. I even wore them out with boots and a top and got lots of compliments.

Not the same as the solid black.

I have several pair of Zella solid black leggings (that I love) and wanted a little variety so I was excited when I saw these. While I love the visual texture, I can't do the fit. The fabric is a little lighter weight (I have no problem with that) but does not have the same stretch as the solid black. Result is I now fall in between sizes- either too much fabric all over or a little too snug in the leg with a muffin top. While I would like to think my continued hard work will eliminate the muffin top, I can't commit. :(

great leggings, size up

I ordered these after reading about them on several blogs. They are very comfortable for exercise or lounging, but I recommend trying your normal size and one size up - I usually wear a small, but ended up exchanging these for a medium for a more forgiving fit!
These leggings are so comfortable.....these have a bit of a thinner material than the all black Zella Live In Leggings. But it's got a great 4 way stretch. They are nice and long (most brands are not), and the stretch is incredible.
The only thing I found odd, was they had a chemical smell to them so I could not wear them until they had been washed. I don't know what this smell was, but they came to be by mail, in the plastic bag with tags. It must have been the dye of the fabric. Other than that they are great!
