I LOVED this color (teal) I am 5'5" and 140 lbs. I am curvy - like an hourglass. I don't have any bulges to hide, but I didn't like this dress for 2 reasons: 1) because of the wrap around skirt portion and the angled sachet on the hip, it made your hips look bigger than they were and it made you look like you had a pot belly when you didn't. 2) While I loved that the top minimized the cleavage, the shoulders were more like a drop shoulder which hung a little lower than the picture shows (a little longer than cap sleeves). So for those reasons I returned it.

This was an attractive dress but the color was terribly different from the picture online. It was a sick purple instead of a wineberry. I returned the item rather than keeping a dress that I really liked on me because I look like a sick Barney from Sesame Street.

I purchased this pretty and versatile dress online in navy and teal. I loved the conservative yet stylish design. The material was decent, soft and a good weight. The colors were rich and beautiful. Unfortunately I had to return them both because the cap sleeves had an odd cut and fit much too tight. I could not lift my arms to clasp a necklace or style my hair without discomfort. Dancing or lifting my arms above my head were out of the question. I have a curvy figure. I am 5'8, 36D and 140 pounds. The dress fit me perfectly in every other area in a reg. size 8. Such a shame, they would have made excellent additions to my wardrobe.

I bought this style as a versatile, classic, flattering dress that would go effortlessly from day to evening. It's a great dress in a great color and delivered on all counts. I am older but maintain a decent figure and am not surprised that it has appealed to every age group.
