First, the dress I received had a ripped side seam next to the zipper. Judging by the number of reviews, I would guess it had been tried on too many times. Fine, I could have repaired, but not for the price of this dress. I also did not like the fabric and the cut of the dress - too casual for me. If you want a great formal dress, I would recommend Tahari. Otherwise, if you are looking for a casual dress, the color Jam is very pretty - more of a rich dark purple.

I love this dress !! It's beautifully made and comfortable to wear. I ordered one size up from my normal size and it fits perfectly, so I would say it does run small. This dress is perfect for work or church, and can also be dressed up with accessories for nicer occasions like a wedding or special dinner out. I receive lots of compliments when I wear this dress - it is very figure flattering !

I normally take a petite dress due to my height and regular size 12 was a bit too long. I liked the dress very much. As others have commented it's not overly dressy but fits nice, is flattering.
