Was looking for winter boots for walking that are lower and easier to put on so thought these would be a great option.
I am a true size 6 shoe. I tried these in a size 6 and they fit like a glove. They fit narrower than medium width which are perfect for my skinny feet/toes. If I go up half a size, I can wear up to 2 layers of hiking wool socks and still be comfortable in the toe box. As far as the color, the black ones were cute but I highly recommend a boot with more color in this style. Needless to say, the black ones are simple and classic and would go well with skinny jeans and dark pants.
CAVEAT: These shoes are light and easy to walk in compared to the Joan of Arctic boots. However, these boots are not temperature rated. If you think these boots would be good for walking in bitter winter days, please consider they are okay so long as it's not in temps below 20-25 degrees. In my experience, my toes got way too cold and unfortunately I had to return them. It really helps to have the toe box more insulated. It is for this reason I only give 3 stars.

These boots are the best boots I have ever owned. They retain heat for many, many hours after taking them off. I took them off for a little bit while I was at home and a few hours later I put them back on to leave. It felt like there was a heater inside of them when I put them back on! It was really astonishing! I have gotten so many compliments on them it is crazy! I highly recommend these boots! I have never felt inclined to write a recommendation in my entire life but that all changed with this purchase as I want everyone to go out and buy a pair!! So many different styles to choose from. I feel like this style is the most practical and simple. These are an incredible value. Just be sure to order a half size down. I am an 8 and I ordered a 7.5 online as they did not carry half sizes in the store. I was going to actually get a 7 in store which was a little snug but Reggie assured me the boots would stretch and that the 7 fit much better and looked better as well.
I needed a new pair of winter boots and took a chance on ordering these from Nordstroms. I got the the lime green laced ones with white, black and a sparkly taupe color, lime green sole. The slight sparkle was a surprise and I absolutely love them! They are comfortable, warm, and look great. I wore them to work one day with the intent of switching into other boots for my work day--I never changed because I didn't want to take them off. Great purchase.

Proscomfortable
Well....it is a Xmas gift but she has been wanting them for a while...but I do love the style and color and they look very waterproof and warm...she is going on a long ski trip to Mammoth, Utah & Jackson Hole...so they are going to get a true test...Ill let you know if they are not what they say they are....:)
