Appeareance: Beautiful Weight: Perfect for my own need Rating: I am giving it 4 stars b/c I have yet put it to the test. I will update my rating after my trip. Comfort: I've tried it on walking around the house and so far so good. I purchased this specifically for my upcoming trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg in November 2013. Thank goodness I found this boot! Hopefully it will withstand Russian awful weather which is wet,slushy and cold.
Disclosure: I've purchased and returned different winter boots 'coz most of them are either heavy to walk around, not waterproof, and they are not fashionable enough for my taste.

I bought these to wear in the snow while walking around at college. I heard great things about them and decided to give them a shot! I wore them today for the first time and they were GREAT! They kept my feet warm and dry and were very comfortable to walk long distances in. I got the tan ones with the black bottoms and love them! They look exactly like the picture above. It was definitely a great purchase and I recommend to everyone! The only thing was that after reading the reviews, people said to go up a size because they run small so I went with a 8.5 but they were too big so I returned them and stuck with my normal size, a size 8 and they fit perfectly!

This is for a Christmas gift. Easy purchase on line with free shipping. Never had a problem with Nordstrom on line shopping or ordering in store. Great store!
