First time buying a pair of AE. I have heard of their legendary quality and had only held off because of price. But, as I get older, I learn that the better the shoe, the less tired and sore my feet and legs feel after walking all day. I needed a new pair for the stretch and decided to finally take the plunge.
The moment I put these on, I felt like it was a long term relationship. After a couple city trips, I can safely say these are built to last and built to support. My feet are MUCH happier at the end of a long day and I know these will last for a long time. Very happy I purchased. And, this is during the “break in” period. They will only get better as they start to wear.
I bough these shoes (in black) almost two years ago to wear to an event at VP Biden's residence. Dressed up they can appear very formal, but they can also be worn dressed down as an everyday shoe for work. Fit is true and no issues to date with the quality. Got them on sale making it a great value as well. Would recommend.
These shoes are solid! I wear a size 14D so great dress shoes are pretty hard to find in my size. I bought these for a wedding, received them in through my local Nordstrom store on a Wednesday, wore them for 12 hours straight the next day, and was amazed that by the wedding on Saturday, these guys were ready to be worn (and danced in.... Many rugs were cut) all night! AE's are really top notch

Park Ave Little Brother

I know that the Park Ave are Allen Edmonds flagship shoe, but these are really close behind. I feel that the brogue in the front will make them look more casual when needed and should I say daring. The shoe size is off. I went to Allen edmonds and the sales person fitted me with a 8.5EEE, which I would have never thought of, because I have always used a 9.5 or 9 in shoes. They are nice shoes and well constructed, some minor detailing is off, but that is because they are handmade.
