Inconsistent and disappointing

Really wanted to get these in Dark Chili for my wedding. Had a good experience getting fitted in-store. But now I've tried 6 pairs and all have issues. Consistent problems with a painful lump in left insole only. Many small imperfections like cuts, scuffs, damaged soles, and dark spots. Only pair without construction issues has the coloring way off. Not what I expected for the money.

Sizing is confusing

I got my pair of shoes and they are wonderful. However, they are about an inch bigger than expected, and I ordered down a full size from my normal size. I honestly don't think the size I ordered aligns with the shoes I got, its that big of a different. I guess its normal to see some difference brand to brand, but give the price and the need to return over and over, this may turn into a a few month of exchanges between myself and the company.

I love mine! Dark Chili is bomb!

I’ve worn cheap shoes all my life and recently started buying good year welted shoes from a different brand and believed that all good year welted shoes were similar in quality. I was super wrong! I read how so many buyers received defective shoes and was worried that mines would arrive with some type of blemish. Fortunately for me they are beautiful! The color was rich and even and the stitching and craftsmanship is outstanding and perfect,
The leather was hard and dry, so I rubbed conditioner on them and they immediately became soft and supple. Although I purchased The matching cream and wax, for the first polish I used neutral cream and neutral wax and couldn’t be more pleased than I am!
I only hope that they last a long time!
