I'm shocked by so many positive reviews. The last for this shoe (and MOST Allen Edmunds) must be for a very odd narrow foot (needle like). The shoe is VERY narrow and long. If you were a 10 D then buy a 9.5E. Why would someone with a normal width foot ever have to buy an E width??? ALSO VERY stiff leather and hurt. Doesn't feel like a $350 shoe. I ordered 4 pairs of shoes trying to get the size right... I wear a 10 E. I tried 10EEE, 9.5 E, 9.5 D, 10, E...
I then bought one pair of Buno Magli 10D's AND they fit (as they should--I wear a 10)!! Done with Allen Edmonds

This is my first pair of AE. I bought this pair of balmorals in walnut, awesome color. Perfect with khakis, jeans or a suit. I bought the blue laces to wear with jeans, really cool... Quality is as good as expected from AE. Don't forget the shoe trees, premium polish, heel and sole edge dressing and conditioner/cleaner, all of them from AE. It will take a bit to break in. Oh, dont forget to add shoe taps in the heel and toe from your local cobbler, for 5 dollars you will save a lot money on a future resole of the shoes. Very important, if you dont know your size and width, better go to an AE store to get the right size. As these shoes are premium, the fit needs to be perfect.
