I have a half dozen McAllister wingtips. I enjoy everone of them. I probably would not have purchased as many as I have but I love the Dainite Rubber Sole. This is a sole they did not offer to the best of my knowledge when I purchased many of my older purchases. I live in the midwest and they are fantact winter shoes. We ride motorcycle in the summer and the Dainite Rubber Sole is fantastic for stability when holding up a 900 lb bike. Just to give you an idea of durability some of my leather sole shoes are over 15 years old and people still say things like COOL SHOES .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A classic and with comfort. Shoe I ordered was walnut in color and is comfortable. In fact, I put it in third place behind the Jefferson and Harrison - the two best Allen Edmonds ever made. They are that good.

I own 2 pairs of this style, oxblood and dark chili and get compliments on both at the workplace. They are both comfortable and look great polished. I’ve gone from new to Allen edmonds to owning 6 pairs! Needless to say I believe in the brand and expect to be a life long customer!
