Nice shoe, just not the style for me.

I own a pair of Strand cap toe oxfords that I really love. But when the time came for me to buy another pair of dress shoes in a different color, I decided to branch out and try another Allen Edmonds' style (the McAllister wingtip oxford in chili).
The McAllister is a nicely made shoe, but I couldn't get over how much longer they looked than my Strands (that are the same size), and I didn't like that the perforations on the wingtip extended over the end of my toe all the way to the welt - it lessened the appeal of the aesthetic from my perspective.
Since I ended up exchanging these for another pair of Strands, I'd say it's obvious that I'm still an Allen Edmonds fan. I guess I'm just writing this review with the hope that it might encourage Allen Edmonds to consider a few new additions to their great lineup of dress shoes.

I live in India and have been using Allen Edmonds for the past 14 years. I have 6 pairs of them. all of them are size 10 D . This time I ordered the same 10 D size and to my disappointment it was too narrow for me. Like I said I live in India and I order it to my cousins place in the US and get it sent .I don't know what to do now. please help.

Have been a die hard user since 1984. Please, please, please do not change ever. The need for a conservative dress shoe is always there. Please do not move away from re craft able shoes with a real leather sole !!! EEE is so important to me. The only other thing I would like is a shinier finish on the black Oxford wingtip. Thank you.
