This was my first AE SHOE purchase, and was the Merlot Strands. Completely exceeded my expectations and I really love the Merlot color. I will ONLY buy AE's now.

Surprised at how comfortable they are on first couple of days, normally break n period is longer. For wide feet, definitely order 1/2 size larger than normal even with EE option to ensure side to side closing with laces over the tongue. Really impressed. First time buyer.
