incredibly beautiful shoe - i have not really had a chance to walk around in it outside of the apartment yet but they feel great. I usually have a bad experience with cheaper brands so for me personally, it was always worth spending more for a premium shoe that'll last. In addition AE will resole your shoes in the future, making it an even better deal down the road.
Notes: I'm usually have a 10.5 dress shoe size so these are probably half a shoe size smaller than normal. In addition i have a normal width but with these allen edmonds I actually an E with this pair of AE.

The Strand is a beautiful AE style and Nordstrom's customer service is second to none (this is an unsolicited compliment). I had to try a few different sizes and it was easy to do so with free returns.
I do not hand out 5 star ratings left and right - these shoes are phenomenal. To comment strictly on aesthetics, they are just good-looking all around. Crafted in a classic shape that will appeal to most everyone. Broguing details will even draw in the trendier men. And I bought them in Walnut, which is just the richest most beautiful color you could possibly imagine. I hate blending in wearing black and chocolate brown shoes, so this color really helps me stand out in a sea of boring old suits; and speaking of, they look great with all your classic suiting colors, navy, light grey, charcoal, and black. I haven't owned them too too long so cannot comment on longevity, but I know enough about the Allen Edmonds name to know that these shoes are of the utmost quality. It's quality you can see and feel immediately. I cannot recommend these shoes enough. They will be my go-to for years and years to come. Finally, they do run a bit large as do many Allen Edmonds shoes in my opinion; I ordered a 9.5 which is a 0.5 size down from my true size of 10. Looking forward to picking up this same design in the Brown Cordovan really soon!
