I've experienced all kind of "Business" shoes, this is very close to my ideal. Why is not my ideal, because i don't have any clue on durability.... but i have no dubt they could last for ever. I'm italian, also customer of other uk/italian major brands), this brand have a great value for money (especially if in US$) Strand (dark brown) is my favourite to match with my navy pin stripes suit (taylor made in Italy.... here we've no competition :-)) Ciao Carlo

I’ve been wearing Allen Edmonds shoes since the early 2000’s, and I still wear these shoes. They are amazing.

Really nice shoe, comfortable. Takes a shine nicely. Little more specific to style than a darker brown but definitely a cool pair and gets attention. Too dressy for me to wear with jeans but a blazer with khakis or gray chines will look sharp with these.
