There is an old saying: “Buy quality. It lasts.”
Never more true than with AE shoes. Just pulling them out of the box you feel something different. They are just more substantial than other brands (J&M, etc). The leather quality in the uppers is fantastic. You can tell they will last. Some shoes crease after one wearing. Not these. They look new after several wearings.
I really like the sole on these with the inset rubber for the heel and foresole. It adds comfort but also adds confidence in slick surfaces.
I would buy more styles with this combo sole style.
