Shoe Polish is not an obstacle

I have these shoes. I found blue wax polish in Lincoln Brand - no problem at all. Don't understand all the grief about no blue polish. I have Strands in walnut and bourbon also. I love them all. My only complaint, although very minimal, is that the blue is a little too bright. They also make these in a darker (navy) blue that I bet is a little more attractive - although the color is a matter of personal taste. In my opinion AE shoes are always winners. I have many pair in different styles and colors. Also, regarding polish - I prefer to use wax polish rather than the cream that I have purchased from AE in the past. Wax allows for a better shine. That is my personal preference. The cream is good to keep the leather moisturized, but I suggest using wax at least on the toe and heal for a more elegant look.

My all time favorite shoe

This has quickly become my favorite shoe I've ever owned. Not only is it a perfect fit, but it stands out in just the right way. It is a classic looking shoe that is just flashy enough to be noticed for all the right reasons. The tap sole gives me piece of mind on rainy days while keeping the look and feel of a leather sole. I recommend pairing the it with a little color in you wardrobe though as the walnut could look slightly out of place if your outfit leans too conservative.

Timeless and classic

The 65 last fits so well for me. I love it. The strand looks handsome in the walnut finish and I couldn’t be happier. No one on earth will ever regret buying this shoe unless they hate good looks.
